If the consumer is unable to connect the appliance to Wi-Fi and the basic troubleshooting was already provided please try the following:

1. Close all Apps 


2. Check the routers security settings. The Wi-Fi Slow Cooker supports WPA, WPA2, And WEP Security types.  
*The consumer can view their routers security type in the router settings (see router IB/documentation for more information).
* Wi-Fi Protected Access, Wi-Fi Protected Access II, and Wired Equivalent Privacy (WEP) are security protocols used to secure wireless networks.


3. Make sure the router's wireless network (SSID) is to broadcast and not hidden. 
*Some users try to hide their WiFi network as part of their wireless security. To use the slow cooker the SSID (network name) can not be hidden. This can be changed in the router’s wireless settings under SSID broadcast option (see router IB/documentation for more information). 
*The slow cooker supports WPA and WPA2 passwords that are 8 to 63 characters comprised of numbers, letters, and special characters such as symbols and spaces.


4. Change the wireless channel to avoid interference with other routers in your area.


5. Repeat the Slow Cooker setup. Some routers may take multiple attempts to establish the connection. 
*Most routers have a maximum number of devices that can be connected. This may cause other devices to drop off the network. For more information the consumer would need to check the routers specifications for more information. 


6. Move the Wi-Fi slow cooker closer to the router for setup purposes.  


7. The Wi-Fi slow cooker broadcasts on a 2.4 GHz frequency and is compatible with 802.11n, 802.11g wireless standards. If the consumer is having issues using a dual band router they would need to contact the router/wireless provider.  
* If the consumer is using router firmware (such as DD_WRT), it is recommended to use the latest version or revert to the latest firmware from the manufacture.
