Coffee Hot Plate Peeling

The hot plate peels due to wear and tear of the machine; this will not affect the function of the machine. Another possible cause would be using abrasive cleansers on the hot plate will discolor or peel the finish.

Cleaning:
1. Unplug unit and allow to cool.
2. Wash removable parts or place in top rack of dishwasher.
3. Clean outside surfaces with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleansers or scouring pads. Never immerse unit in water.

Carafe Care:
1. Never use abrasive scouring pads or cleansers.
2. Avoid rough handling and sharp blows.
