Toaster Oven - Door Gap
Revision as of 13:04, 17 March 2021 by imported>Bryan
- Our ovens are intentionally manufactured with a small gap (approximately 1/8”) along the door to allow for excess steam and heat to escape. (**1/8 inch is the height of two stacked quarters**)
- It is necessary to allow some heat to escape for the unit to maintain the set temperature.
- This also allows the heating elements to cycle on for long enough to brown the outer surfaces of your food.
- Many people prefer food cooked in a counter top oven compared to a microwave because the set temperature is maintained.
