Rice Cooker - How to Clean

- Always unplug the unit before cleaning.
- Never immerse the unit in water or other liquid.
- Wash removable parts in warm, soapy water.
- Do not use abrasive cleaners or metal scouring pads—they may scratch the nonstick surface or could result in poor contact with the heating plate.
- Dry with a soft cloth before replacing in your rice cooker.
- After the unit has thoroughly cooled, wipe the inside and outside surfaces with a damp soapy cloth and dry thoroughly.
- If water accidentally gets into the switch area or onto the heating plate, allow to dry thoroughly before using the rice cooker.
Build Up or Residue on Bowl
Starch may build up on the sides and bottom of the bowl. To remove this build up
- Fill bowl with hot soapy water
- Let stand several minutes
- Use a nylon scrubber along sides and bottom
- Rinse
