Toaster - Bagel Feature

If the toaster has this feature, it will have a button with a bagel/bagels icon or the word "Bagel".

• "To activate this feature, press the toast control lever down until it locks into place, and then press the Bagel button. Pressing the button before the toast control lever is locked into place will not activate the feature."
• The bagel button is used to toast foods such as bagels or English muffins.
• The Bagels and English muffins are thicker and take longer than regular bread to toast.
• When using this feature the inside of the bagel will be toasted and the outside of the bagel will be warmed.
• The inside elements will heat up more than the outer elements and may appear that only the inner elements are working.

Please Note: When using the bagel function, the toaster should draw the same amount of power. The inside elements may heat up more than the outer elements, but both elements are working.
