The difference between a food processor and a chopper is that a food processor is more versatile. In general, food processors can chop, slice, shred, and puree. Depending on the model, some food processors can also be used for mixing and kneading doughs. A food chopper does not have as many functions or accessories. A chopper is just used for chopping foods.
