Slow Cooker - Terminology to Avoid

When speaking to a consumer do not refer to a slow cooker as a crock pot. "Crock Pot" is a brand name. It is not necessary to inform the consumer, but all customer care specialists should refrain from using the term "Crock Pot" when referring to a slow cooker.
