Coffee Maker - 1-4 Cup Brew Option

Some coffee makers have a 1-4 cup brew option. The 1-4 cup setting optimizes the brewing cycle to ensure that the 1-4 cup coffee flavor is equal to brewing 12 cup pot. When this function is activated, the brewing process slows down in order to get the full flavor of the coffee without having to use more coffee grounds.
