Coffee Maker - Strong/Bold Option

Some coffeemakers have a feature to brew coffee with a bolder, stronger flavor. Coffeemakers with this feature have a button on the control panel labeled “Bold”, “Strong”, or “Robusto”. Using this feature causes the coffeemaker to dispense water more slowly over the grounds. This allows more time for the coffee to "steep", and extracts more flavor/oil from the grounds. The Bold setting will take a little longer to brew than the regular brew cycle.
