How to use the SR1000 Tide Buzz!
- Plug the adaptor into a standard AC household outlet
- Insert the detachable plug into the underside of the unit
- Remove the seal on the Tide™ Ultrasonic Cleaning Fluid container opening and insert it into the reservoir with the flat, logo side up
- Place a disposable, Stain Catcher™ Pad under the garment with the shiny, plastic side away from the fabric
- Unwind the Buzz™ Wand from the unit
- Select the appropriate Power Button for your fabric (see chart)
- Holding the Wand tip directly over the fabric press the Fluid Button and moisten the stained area with liquid
- While pressing the button, glide wand over stain and apply gentle pressure to fabric
- You will notice a buzzing noise when operating
- Apply more Tide™ Ultrasonic Cleaning Fluid to the area as you work out the stain
- Unit works best when the Wand is held vertically rather than being tilted
- The Stain Catcher™ Pad will absorb the stain from the fabric
- Repeat steps 7 and 8 several times while moving the Stain Catcher™ Pad around until the stain is sufficiently removed or you see no further progress
- Discard used Pad
- Hold Wand vertically rather than at a slant for best results
- Move Wand slowly over the stain for optimal stain removal
- Check for color fastness prior to stain removal
- Moisten a folded, white paper towel with several drops of Tide™ Ultrasonic Cleaning Fluid
- Press against hidden area of garment
- If any dye is absorbed onto paper towel, do not use the Tide™ Buzz™ Ultrasonic Stain
- Remover on that garment
- For Heavy Residue Stains such as jam, egg yolk, ketchup, etc.
- Brush off excess residue
- Saturate stain with Tide™ Ultrasonic Cleaning Fluid and allow to sit a few seconds to moisten and soften residue
- Using a dull edge such as a spoon, scrape excess residue toward center of stain and lift off with utensil
- Remoisten stain and, while pressing the Buzz™ button, glide wand over stain and apply gentle pressure to fabric With some stains on certain fabrics, it is difficult to see if the stain has been completely removed when wet
- Allow to dry and repeat process if necessary
- The Tide™ Buzz™ Ultrasonic Stain Remover is designed to remove most stains enough to let you wear garments immediately, after they air dry
- When it is time to launder clothing, use Tide™ laundry detergent for best results
- Always follow garment care label instructions
