Term - Smart Network Switch
SCW3000S | Additional Product Information
A Smart Network Switch is a feature on Android phones that allows the phone to automatically switch between the Wi-Fi and their mobile network.
Example:
A consumer connects their phone/device to their home Wi-Fi and everything is working as it should. If the consumers phone detects an issue with the home Wi-Fi (weak, unstable...) the phone/device will automatically connect back to the mobile data until the Wi-Fi connection is stable again.
Note: When the Smart Network switch is enabled it may still shows that there’s an active Wi-Fi connection on the home network, despite using mobile data. The user would have no way of knowing when it’s using Wi-Fi or mobile data.
This feature will sometimes interfere with the slow cooker setup. If the phone/device detects an unstable connection and switches to mobile data it will cancel the set up process. To fix this, disable Smart Network Switch before setting up the appliance. After setup is complete the consumer can re-enable it.
