CM6000 - Brew Times
Revision as of 18:46, 21 February 2017 by imported>Jackie
Brewing a full 12 cup carafe takes about 10 minutes
The K-cup side times are as follows
- 6 oz – 1.5 minutes
- 8 oz – 1.5 minutes
- 10 oz – 2 minutes
- 12 oz – 3.25 minutes
- 16 oz – 4 minutes
- 20 oz – 4 minutes
When using the K-cup side and selecting the larger volume (12oz, 16oz, 20oz)
The unit will brew half of the selected value and stop for 1.5 minutes before continuing to brew the other half. The pause allows time to open the lid remove the first pod and replace it with a new one.
For example, if 12 oz is selected the unit will brew 6 oz, stop for 1.5 minutes and brew an additional 6 oz.
- When you make a selection on the K-cup side, the “Robusto” and “20oz” lights will flash 10 times prior to the light on the selected size stays on and brew cycle begins. This is true for all size selections on the K-cup side.
- If the K-cup lid is opened during the brewing cycle, brewing will stop, 6oz and 12 oz lights will flash until lid is closed and cycle will continue.
- Make sure the customer sees the light on the selected size completely power off after brewing to insure the brew cycle is complete, removing tour cup/container prior to a complete brew cycle could result in coffee spilling.
If all lights flash on the K-cup size selection, check that the unit has enough water in the reservoir; unit needs at least 4 cups of water to start a brew cycle.
