In regards to your inquiry concerning the lead warning on the line cord, according to California Proposition 65 - All products with a line cord will have this warning. Spectrum Home Appliances can not deny or substantiate the claims noted on Proposition 65. Consumers must use their own judgment pertaining to this matter.
