Masticating Juicers

A masticating juicer uses a single auger to compact and crush produce into smaller sections before squeezing out the juice through a screen. A masticating juicer runs at a very low speed with no spinning action to separate the juice from the pulp. There are cold press juicers, also known as masticating juicers.

Pros: Multifunctional, may extract more juice, great for juicing greens, easy to use

Cons: Expensive, slow, heavy, hard to clean
