- The rice measure provided is based on 5 oz.
- Add the rice to the bowl before the water
- Use the water-level markings inside the cooking bowl as a guide for adding the appropriate amount of water.
- Example: When using 4 measures of uncooked rice (once the rice is put in the cooking bowl), fill with water to water-level marking 4.
- Be careful not to add too much water as it may cause the unit to boil over.
- Use the "BROWN RICE" markings (Brown rice markings only on some models) when cooking brown rice and "OTHER RICE" for all other varieties. If the rice bowl does not have brown rice markings advise consumer to follow instructional brochure instructions or package directions.
