Product Description
The 15396 Twin Bell alarm clock is easy to set and use because everything is done the old-fashioned way. You set the current time and alarm time by means of separate rotating knobs. Alarm set point is shown using the independent alarm indicator. Then just turn the separate wind keys for the clock and the alarm counterclockwise until you feel resistance.
When the alarm time is reached the bells sound by means of a metal mallet striking them. If not silenced the alarm will ring for about 16 seconds. The alarm has a classical bell sound, sure to wake the soundest sleeper. There is no snooze feature on this model.
Expected run time of a fully wound clock is 24 hours with accuracy of +/- 5 minutes, and the clock will actually continue to tell time for several hours after that with slightly less accuracy. This time accuracy is typical of key-wound clocks.
With its luminous hands and hour markers, easy operation, and attractive retro appearance, the Westclox 15396 Ardmore Twin Bell is an alarm clock that almost anyone can use and appreciate. Because it's key-wound, you can use the 15396 anywhere-home, office or travel. And with a modest price tag, it's an excellent value. Naturally, the Ardmore Twin Bell alarm clock makes a practical, affordable, and elegant gift item.
