Blender - Not Blending

If the blender is not blending properly:

  • There might not be enough liquid in the blender OR you have too much ice.
  • Add some liquid and pulse the mixture to aid in the blending process.
  • When ingredients splatter onto the sides of the jar or if the mixture is very thick, press the OFF button. Remove the lid and use a rubber spatula to scrape down the sides of the jar and redistribute the food, pushing the food toward the blades. Put the lid back on the jar and continue blending

Helpful Tip: When filling the jar, add liquid first.

If the blender stopped in the middle of blending

  • Blender may have become unplugged during use. Check to make sure it is still connected to a power outlet.
  • Try a different electrical outlet
  • Check to make sure that there is not any food or other obstructions between the blades. If there is something blocking the blades, unplug the unit and then carefully remove the obstruction using a utensil
  • The blender has a motor overheat protection system that will automatically shut off the blender when it has been running too long with a heavy load. If this happens, unplug the blender and wait 10-15 minutes to allow the motor to cool down. Plug in the blender and resume blending.
