G Broil - Green Pre-Heat light does not come on

• The Pre-Heat light only illuminates during contact grilling.
• During Contact Grilling, the light will turn on once both the top and bottom cooking plates have reached the desired temperature
• For Broiling, the Pre-Heat light will not operate. The heating element in the top is regulated by the broiling button on the top of the grill (Hi/Low Broil). The bottom grill plate will come to temperature as the heating element reaches the desired temperature chosen through the variable temperature knob on the top of the grill.
• As the grill cooks in contact mode, the heating elements will cycle depending upon the temperature of the food that is placed on the grill or if heat is lost to the environment.
