G Broil - Stuck in Contact Mode

• Fully open the grill and remove the top plate by pushing the plate release button on the right side of the plate. Once the top plate is removed, the grill will switch to broiling mode.
• If the grill is not fully opened when removing the top plate, the grill will stay in contact mode and not “hover” above the food as intended.
