Model Substitution Procedure

To substitute a model you must consult your dashboard for compatible replacement units.

  • Go to your dashboard
  • Select US MODEL SUBS (if replacement is in the US) or CANADA MODEL SUBS (if replacement is for Canada)
  • In the search box, type in the model number of the unit to be replaced, a list will populate below the search box, available sub model numbers will appear along with availability (in stock) next to the model number.
  • The subs will appear in sequence from preferred sub to tertiary. We always want to work from the preferred sub on down.
  • Fill in the contact manager replacement model filter with the sub from the list
  • If a sub is not available for a particular model product, continue with the contact but leave the replacement model filter area blank and save your contact, Spectrum will then sub the unit themselves.
