Wi-Fi Network does not have Internet Access

When trying to add the appliance to Wi-Fi, some Android versions will display an error message indicating that the Wi-Fi network does not have internet access. If the consumer receives this message they should proceed anyway.

Connection / Set Up Error

If the consumer receives a Connection Error or a Setup Error:

  • Check the appliance and Wi-Fi are still turned on and the passwords entered are correct.
  • Make sure the B+D_E8_xxxx shows in range. If you are next to the appliance and it indicates out of range press and hold the start and stop button again to resend the signal
  • Return to setup and try again - please note that whenever the consumer is instructed to "Return to setup and try again", the process has to be started over completely - exit/force close the app and reset the slow cooker by pressing Start and Stop, otherwise the app and/or slow cooker will still have information saved from the failed setup and will likely fail again.
  • If the consumer has received the error a few times advise the consumer to unplug the unit and power off the phone/device to reset. The password may have been entered incorrectly initially and the device or the slow cooker will need to be reset so the settings are erased. The consumer may also need to go into there settings to forget the network so the correct password can be entered.

Wi-Fi Indicator Blinking

If the consumer is receiving an Error page and the Wi-Fi indicator light is blinking:

  • Wrong password input of Wi-Fi network

-Check the password of Wi-Fi

  • SSID (name of network) includes Chinese and special characters that can not be recognized.

- Change the SSID

  • The router is too far from device, or the signal is poor

-Move the unit closer to the router.

  • The unit is in the black list, the router does not allow the consumer to add the device.

-Change the Wi-Fi setting

  • The customer is using a 5G network when setting up the devices, which is not compatible.

- Do not use the 5G network.

Wi-Fi indicator Light Solid

If the consumer is receiving a “Connection Error” page and the Wi-Fi is solid, meaning connected:

  • The router has AP isolation (AP is a device that allows wireless devices to connect to a

wired network using Wi-Fi). - Change the Wi-Fi setting, forbid the AP isolation

  • Some router brands have the host and customer network (user connects to the customers network) the access is limited.

- Choose the host network when setting up the appliance.

If the consumer needs instructions on how to change these settings please suggest the consumer check their routers manual or they can search via “Google”. Different brands of Wi-Fi routers need different instructions
