ST2000 Recall Instructions

If a consumer is calling in regards to model ST2000 Infrawave toaster, Customer Care Specialist is to inform the consumer that the toaster is on a Recall.

Note: An electrical component in the toaster can overheat and ignite the circuit board, posing a fire hazard.


Customer Care Specialist is to ask the consumer "Has your toaster caused any property damage"

  • if YES Customer Care Specialist is to transfer the call to a Product Incident specialist.
  • If NO, Customer Care Specialist needs to register the consumer in the Recall contact manager.

Scripting/Instructions

If the consumer calls with general questions in regards to the ST2000 Infrawave toaster, the customer care specialist should do the the following:

CCS is to answer the caller’s question. (Usage question) etc.

In addition advise consumer Please make sure that the unit is unplugged and discontinue use of the product. We will be forwarding you a letter with additional information in regards to your toaster.
